Three documents on Informativ are signed online by everyone involved: artist booking contracts, contract booking agreements (long-term equipment leases, vehicle hire and delivery routes), and split sheets. They're signed on Informativ's own secure signing page, which adds a signing certificate and seals the finished document.

When you're asked to sign

  • Artist bookings: as soon as the artist quotes, the contract goes out to the organizer and the artist. Both sign before the booking can be accepted and paid.
  • Contract bookings: once the provider approves, the agreement goes out to the client and the provider. The client can only pay the first month and deposit once both have signed. The payment deadline (72 hours, or the start date) doesn't move, so sign early.
  • Split sheets: when the initiator sends the split sheet out, everyone with an email address signs it, the initiator included. It's only Completed once all of them have signed.

How to sign

  1. Open the booking, contract or split sheet on your dashboard. The E-signature box shows who has signed and who hasn't yet.
  2. Choose Review & sign. The signing page opens with the full document.
  3. Read it, sign in the box marked for you, and finish. You're brought back to the page you came from.

In the app, contract booking agreements are signed the same way: open the contract under More → My Contracts (or Long-term Contracts as the provider) and choose Review & sign. The signing page opens in your browser, and when you come back to the app it checks for the new signature straight away. Download signed copy (PDF) is there too once everyone has signed. Artist booking contracts and split sheets are signed on the website for now.

Only the person named on the document can sign it. If someone on your team manages bookings for you, they can see the signing status, but the signature has to be yours.

Signing without an account

An external collaborator on a split sheet who has an email address gets their own signing link by email, with no account needed. A collaborator with no email can't sign online, so the initiator records their agreement with Mark as Agreed, as before.

The signed copy

Once everyone has signed, Download signed copy (PDF) appears on the page, and each signer also gets the signed copy by email. The last page is a signing certificate showing who signed, when, and from where. The file is sealed, so any change made to it after signing can be detected.

Declining, and fixing mistakes

If something in the document is wrong, don't sign it. Decline on the signing page and say why. The other side is told. For a booking or contract agreement, sort it out with them and choose Send a new copy to sign on the page. A declined split sheet goes back to draft for the initiator to correct and send out again. If a copy couldn't be prepared (usually because someone has no email address on their account), the page says so and offers Try again.

Cancelling a booking, withdrawing a contract or cancelling a split sheet also cancels any copy still waiting for signatures.
