Getting Started with Informativ
Create your account, set up your profile, and explore the platform.
Welcome to Informativ
Informativ is an all-in-one platform for managing events, equipment rentals, venues, artists, and more. Follow this guide to get started quickly.
1. Create Your Account
You can register using your email or your Google account (via Socialite). After registration, you'll receive a verification email. Click the link to verify your address.
Important: Once verified, the system automatically assigns you the USER role and creates your primary contact_details record with your email.
Right after that, you'll see a one-time "Here to…" screen with a few quick yes/no questions (organize an event, manage a venue, rent out equipment, sell products, build an artist career, or offer bookable services). Answering yes turns on the matching feature for you immediately β the same thing Profile β Feature Access does, just asked up front. You can skip it and decide later; nothing is locked behind it.
2. Complete Your Profile
Navigate to your Dashboard β Profile. Fill in:
- Personal Information β First name, last name, display name, username.
- Contact Details β Phone number, WhatsApp number, social media links (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). These are auto-formatted into clickable URLs.
- Company Details β Company name, registration number, VAT status.
- Profile & Cover Photos β Upload images (automatically compressed via Intervention Image).
3. Enable Feature Access (Roles)
Informativ uses a feature-opt-in model. Under Profile β Feature Access, toggle the services you need:
- Event Management β Grants the
ORGANIZERrole. - Venue Management β Grants the
VENUE_MANAGERrole. - Artist Profile β Grants the
ARTISTrole and creates anArtistProfilerecord. - Equipment Management β Grants the
LESSORrole and allows listing equipment. - Provider Management β Grants the
PROVIDERrole for offering bookable services. - Transport Management β Grants the
FLEET_PROVIDERrole and creates a fleet profile for managing vehicles and delivery requests.
You can toggle these roles on or off at any time.
4. Explore the Dashboard
Your dashboard provides a unified view of your tickets, bookings, rentals, and financial balances. Use the sidebar to access specific management tools.
Wherever you're writing longer content β a venue, event, or product description, a policy, and similar fields β look for the "Improve with AI" box just below it. Type an optional instruction (or leave it blank to just fix grammar/clarity) and it'll fill the field with a suggestion for you to review and edit before saving; nothing is ever saved automatically.
