Reporting Equipment Damage
Record damage on a returned item with photos both sides can see.
Reporting Equipment Damage
If equipment comes back damaged, submit a Damage Report from the rental order. Add photos and a description of what happened β the more specific the description, the faster it can be assessed.
What Both Sides See
The report is attached to the rental order itself, so the lessee and the lessor are looking at the same evidence trail rather than two different accounts of it. Photos, descriptions and dates stay together on the order for as long as it's kept.
Charges
Any charge is the excess beyond the security deposit, and the rental order's cancellation/refund policy sets the terms. A damage charge is raised on the order and paid the same way as the balance β you can see both the charge and its outcome on the order's page.
