Some clients need equipment or transport for months, not days. A contract booking reserves it for a term of up to 36 months and is billed monthly to the client's saved card.

What can be booked on contract

  • Equipment lease — any number of units of one listing, priced from the listing's Monthly price (or Yearly Γ· 12).
  • Dedicated vehicle hire — one of a fleet's vehicles works only for you, with or without the fleet's driver, at the vehicle's monthly hire rate.
  • Scheduled delivery route — a fixed pickup and drop-off on the weekdays and time you choose. The fleet quotes a monthly price when it approves.

Booking a contract

  1. On an equipment listing, choose Book a long-term contract; on a fleet's delivery page, choose Contract booking. Pick the start date and length, and send the request. Nothing is charged.
  2. The owner or fleet has 48 hours to approve or decline. You'll be notified either way.
  3. Once approved, you and the provider both sign the agreement: open the contract under Dashboard β†’ My Contracts and choose Review & sign (see Signing Documents).
  4. Then pay the first month plus a refundable deposit of one month's fee within 72 hours of approval (or before the start date) - signing doesn't extend that. Your card is saved and charged automatically on the same date every month.

If a monthly payment fails, you'll be notified and can pay it from My Contracts with any card (which then becomes your billing card). A payment more than 7 days overdue suspends the contract until it's paid.

Ending a contract early

Either side can give notice from the contract page. The contract then ends after the notice period shown on it (usually 30 days). You pay until then — the last month is pro-rated — and nothing more is owed. Months already paid aren't refunded.

Renewing

In the last 60 days of a contract, choose Request renewal on its page and pick a new length. It's at the same monthly price; once the provider approves, billing simply carries on from the day the current term ends and your deposit carries over — nothing to pay up front. Giving notice on the current contract calls off a renewal you've lined up.

Changing a contract

On an active contract you can ask for more or fewer units, a different vehicle (with or without driver), or a different delivery route — other days, time, stops or load — from Change this contract. The provider has 48 hours to respond; for a route the fleet quotes the new monthly price. A unit or vehicle change happens straight away and its new price starts on your next billing date; a route change and its price both start on your next billing date. If the new price is higher than your deposit, the deposit is topped up to one month of the new price with that payment.

In the app

Your contracts are under More β†’ My Contracts: pay, give notice, renew or ask for a change. Equipment owners and fleets answer requests under More β†’ Long-term Contracts.

The deposit

The deposit is held by Informativ, not the provider. When the contract ends, the provider can keep part of it only for documented damage, missing items or unpaid payments, with a reason; the rest is refunded to your card. If they don't settle it within 14 days, it's refunded in full automatically.

Offering contracts (lessors & fleets)

  • Lessors: on Dashboard β†’ Equipment β†’ an item β†’ Edit, tick Available on long-term contract and set the minimum length and notice period. The listing needs an active Monthly (or Yearly) pricing tier. Units on contract are reserved for the whole term and can't be booked by one-off rentals.
  • Fleets: under Transport β†’ Profile & Fees β†’ Contract Bookings, turn contracts on, set the minimum length and notice period, and enter monthly hire rates (vehicle only and/or with driver) for each vehicle you'll hire out. A hired vehicle can only be assigned to that client's work.
  • Renewal requests and change requests also land in Dashboard β†’ Contracts — approve or decline them within 48 hours. A renewal needs no new quote and no payment from the client to start.
  • Requests land in Dashboard β†’ Contracts. Approve or decline within 48 hours; for a scheduled route enter your monthly price when approving. Record handover and return for equipment and vehicles, and settle the deposit when the contract ends.
  • Scheduled-route trips are created two days ahead in your normal Delivery Requests inbox, already paid for by the contract — accept each with a vehicle as usual. Contract trips can't be declined; give notice on the contract to stop the route.
  • Commission is 7% of each monthly fee (excluding VAT) — lower than one-off rentals and deliveries — and never on the deposit. Each month's payout lands in your normal balance.
